Cama Beach State Park with the Toft Family
We spent the weekend at a really great state park. Cama Beach State Park is a restored primitive fishing resort from the 1930's. Small cabins with two bunkbeds and one small bed in a private room. Shared bath facilities in a separate building and a cool old boat house maintained by the Center for Wooden Boats. It was a really nice fall weekend with moments of glorious sunshine. We had tons of fun with our friends the Tofts.

2014 Leavenworth Half Marathon
Our annual fall trip to Leavenworth. Merrick's parents came up from Eugene to cheer him on in the Leavenworth 1/2 Marathon and spend some time with our family. We stayed in Wenatchee due to booking and general mayhem in Leavenworth over this first weekend of Octoberfest. Click the first picture for all 23 pictures.

2014 Trip to Port Townsend with Grandpa George
Grandpa George visited from Colorado in August and took us on a super fun trip to Port Townsend. The weather was outstanding and we spent lots of time on the beach and at the Jefferson County Fair where Tiger Lily had her first pony ride! Click the picture for more pictures (30).

2014 Honkfest on the Seattle Waterfront
This is one of our favorite Seattle summer things to do...something like a hippy punk vaudeville festival with klezmer, banda, marching band music. Sooo cool!

PrE-aster at Seward Park
We met our friends Jeremy, Kristin and Henry at Seward Park for a brunch and early Easter egg hunt. This was Tiger Lily's first one, and I think Henry's too. It was a lot of fun.

2014 February Trip to Tacoma
We took a trip to Tacoma to check out the campus of University of Puget Sound, where, as it turns out, Beth will be attending school this fall. It rained something fierce, so we took refuge in the Washington State Museum and had a fun and informative afternoon.
